ResponsibilitiesWork on research projects under the core mission of the lab. Prepares publications to publish research findings. Develop posters and other presentations. Work with the PI and research team to further develop grant ideas and submit research proposals to federally funded programs.
Serves as an academic role model and mentor for medical, allied health, and graduate students and/or other trainees, encouraging trainee participation in mentored research projects and other scholarly activities. Provides both verbal and written assessment as required, in a timely fashion.
Coordinates experiments, ensures that research resources are properly allocated, and makes recommendations for future allocation of research resources.
Qualifications- Ph.D. in Bioengineering, Biomedical Sciences or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cancer research or stromal cell biology.
