Research Associate, Research Scientist

The Research Associate 3 (RA3) will assist with the management of the Genomics Core used by multiple investigators at LSUHSC and other institutions, including international programs. The incumbent is responsible for technological upgrades and conducting highly specialized and advanced experiments. The incumbent will plan, organize, and conduct highly independent research under the direction of the Genomics Core Director to include, but not limited to, specimen prep and processing, managing supplies, and invoicing for services rendered.

The RA3 will also train and supervise students and visiting Fellows when applicable.
