Product Demonstrator – Part Time

Pay: $14.00/hr
OverviewThe Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining product knowledge, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers to demonstrate products professionally, and maintaining a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Responsibilities- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
- Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access and navigate the company’s electronic systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Adobe PDF forms.
- Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred. - Computer
Skills:
Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food Handler permit may be required.
- Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, handle, lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs), push/pull a demonstration cart, use hands/arms up to 65 inches overhead, work with cleaning supplies, etc.
- Language
Skills:
English required; bilingual may be necessary. - Maintain professional appearance and grooming.
