Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Manager to lead our retail store team in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the store, managing inventory, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Duties- Manage store operations, including stock, inventory, and cash handling
- Oversee customer service and sales, ensuring that customers have an exceptional shopping experience
- Supervise and train a team of sales associates, managers, and other store staff
- Plan and implement sales promotions and in‑store events to drive sales growth
- Conduct regular inventory counts, manage stock, and maintain a clean and organized store
- Manage payroll, scheduling, and staffing needs
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and seamless operations
- Manage the store's budget, ensuring that expenses are within budget and that the store is profitable
- Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to customer service, teamwork, and excellence
- Proven experience in store management, preferably in a retail setting
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in stock management and inventory control
- Experience with payroll and scheduling software
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of retail best practices and current trends
- A strong understanding of math and the ability to perform basic calculations
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
- A passion for customer service and a desire to drive sales growth
