Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. They work independently and as part of a team to provide customer‑focused service and support, positively impacting the lives of others.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer by offering a warm greeting, maintaining eye contact, and helping locate additional items when needed.
• Perform cashier duties with precision, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed.
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Provide support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational and are current with all updated services and tools.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when required, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as opportunities for growth and career development.
• Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

• At least 16 years of age.

• Remain upright on feet, especially for sustained periods.
• Lifting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount regularly to move objects, including overhead lifting.
• Maintain visual acuity sufficient for viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts or details.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Anticipated weekly hours: 20; time type: part time.

Typical pay range: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour.
