Store Manager, Retail & Store Manager

Role Overview

Responsible for managing store operations and staff to ensure effective implementation of processes including ordering, stocking, merchandising, and customer service.

• Key Duties:
  
  Recruit, train, evaluate, and retain employees; ensure proper staffing and compliance with labor laws.
• Conduct performance reviews, address performance gaps, and manage employee advancement and pay.
• Oversee store opening and closing, maintain safety, security, and cleanliness standards.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, control expenses, and optimize inventory levels.
• Manage merchandise presentation, signage, and stock replenishment to meet sales targets.
• Ensure cash handling, security, and safety procedures are followed, maintaining financial integrity.
• Deliver excellent customer service and foster a positive shopping environment.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; management experience in retail preferred.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management, cash handling, safety procedures, and merchandising practices.
• Ability to interpret manuals, perform calculations, and use cash register systems.
• Bilingual skills may be preferred depending on location.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, and use of equipment.
