Location: Saint Amant
We are looking for an experienced Full-Time Meat Cutter to join our grocery store team in Reserve, LA.
Responsibilities include:- Cutting, trimming, and preparing beef, pork, poultry, and other meats
- Preparing attractive, properly packaged products for the meat case
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked meat department
- Following proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assisting customers and providing friendly, dependable service
- Helping with inventory, rotation, and minimizing product waste
- Previous meat-cutting or butcher experience REQUIRED
- Knowledge of different cuts of meat and proper cutting techniques
- Dependable and able to work well as part of a team
- Able to lift and handle meat cases and products throughout the workday
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends
