Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Account Manager to support the growth of a rapidly expanding industrial organization. This individual will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, implementing scalable sales processes, and helping build a modern, technology-driven sales organization. The ideal candidate combines strong sales abilities with a process-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth.
EssentialDuties:
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities
- Respond to customer inquiries and prepare accurate quotations and proposals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, manufacturers, and key customers
- Identify, pursue, and secure new sales opportunities within target markets
- Attend customer meetings, site visits, and industry trade shows as needed
- Promote CAD drafting and design services as value-added solutions for customers
- Support account management initiatives and outside sales activities
- Implement and improve CRM processes, sales systems, and reporting tools
- Develop standardized sales procedures, quoting practices, and account management processes
- Improve customer tracking, pipeline visibility, and sales forecasting capabilities
- Support business development efforts and market expansion initiatives
- Assist with building scalable sales infrastructure to support organizational growth
- Mentor, coach, and help develop future sales team members as the organization expands
Skills:
- 2 years of sales experience with raw materials or in distribution for industrial products
- Experience working with distributors, manufacturers, industrial products, or technical solutions preferred
- Strong phone presence, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Experience preparing quotes, negotiating contracts, and managing customer accounts
- Knowledge of specifications, technical products, or engineering-related services is a plus
- Background in manufacturing, industrial, automation, utility, telecom, material handling, construction, or related industries preferred
- Experience with both inside and outside sales environments
- Strong CRM, sales technology, and reporting proficiency
- Ability to establish structure, implement best practices, and improve sales processes
- Self-motivated, growth-oriented professional with strong business development skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
- Frequent use of telephone and other communication devices
- Ability to travel for customer visits, meetings, and trade shows as required
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to move throughout customer facilities, offices, and trade show environments
