The Role

The Partner Account Manager’s primary duty is to engage, build and develop Human Interest’s key accounts and growth opportunities. The role accelerates partner relationships to help us reach more small and medium businesses across the United States. It requires a proactive, creative sales professional who can exercise discretion and judgment to create solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, build, and amplify referral relationships with tech partners, HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space.
  • Create and build strategic referral networks and partnership opportunities focused on lead generation.
  • Proactively identify and resolve emerging issues and offer solutions by working cross‑functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance.
  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing to innovate and execute unique initiatives to promote partner sales (e.g., educational events, email, webinars).
  • Work with partners to establish business goals and performance metrics to develop and execute effective go‑to‑market strategies and demand‑generation activities.
What You Bring to the Role
  • 2+ years of experience building, developing, and maintaining relationships with tech and HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space.
  • Proven track record of success in a quota‑driven sales environment.
  • Highly motivated, independent relationship builder.
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
  • Resilient, resourceful, and creative in problem‑solving.
  • Solutions‑oriented mindset with willingness to manage operational partnership issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Tech‑savvy with familiarity using Salesforce to manage sales cycles.

  • Coachable and capable of implementing training and guidance.
  • Travel:
    Ability to be in the field 3 days per week.
Compensation

The total On Target Earnings (OTE) for this role range from $130,000 to $133,000, consisting of a base salary of $66,500 and a variable target compensation of $66,500. The base pay is only one component of the Total Rewards package, which also includes comprehensive physical, financial, and mental wellness benefits, plus stock option grants.
