Membership Sales Associate (Part-Time)
Stretch Zone is the nation's leader in practitioner-assisted stretching. We are looking for energetic, professional, and growth-mindful Associates to join our team. This role focuses on building relationships with prospects, converting first-time visitors into members, and maintaining member engagement.
Position OverviewAs the first impression of Stretch Zone, you will generate appointments, conduct follow-up outreach, educate potential clients on the benefits of stretching, and help existing members stay on track with their wellness goals.
Essential Responsibilities- Conduct consultations with prospective clients.
- Educate guests on services and membership options.
- Convert first-time visitors into members.
- Follow established sales processes and presentation standards.
- Consistently work toward individual and studio sales goals.
- Follow up with prospects via calls, texts, and email.
- Create a welcoming and professional first impression for every guest.
- Answer phones and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Schedule appointments and manage client calendars.
- Assist with membership questions and client concerns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Help members stay committed and re-engage inactive members.
- Support retention initiatives and studio growth.
- Maintain accurate client notes and account documentation.
- Assist with daily studio operations and administrative tasks.
- Keep the studio clean, organized, and presentation-ready.
- Support teammates and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Use downtime productively for lead follow-up and outreach.
- Personality, work ethic, and coachability are paramount; prior sales experience is helpful.
- Membership sales experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or retail.
- Experience working toward goals, quotas, or performance metrics.
- Background in personal training, physical therapy, massage, or related fields (preferred).
- Knowledge of kinesiology, anatomy, or physiology (preferred).
- High school diploma required; college education preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Confidence using phones, technology, and scheduling software.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Weekend availability required.
- Mid-day and evening availability preferred.
- Consistent schedule and reliable transportation required.
- Not a receptionist position.
- Not a sit-behind-the-desk role; requires active client engagement.
- Not suitable for those who dislike sales, follow-up, accountability, or building relationships.
