As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Elastic, you'll play a key role in driving our continued growth by engaging prospective customers, understanding their business challenges, and creating high‑quality opportunities that fuel our sales pipeline. Working closely with Account Executives and Marketing, you'll identify the right prospects, spark meaningful conversations, and help organizations discover how Elastic's platform can solve their most critical business challenges.

What You Will Do
  • Partner for Success: Collaborate closely with your Account Executives and Marketing to identify target accounts, execute strategic campaigns, and generate high‑quality pipeline across your territory.
  • Create Meaningful Conversations: Engage inbound and outbound prospects through a thoughtful multi‑channel approach. Ask great questions, uncover business challenges, and qualify opportunities that create value for both the customer and our sales teams.
  • Leverage Technology: Use Linked In Sales Navigator, Demandbase, Sumble, AI‑powered tools, and other sales technologies to research accounts, identify key decision‑makers, personalize your outreach, and maximize your effectiveness.
  • Become an Elastic Expert: Develop a strong understanding of the Elastic platform, our AI‑powered solutions, and the industries we serve so you can confidently articulate business value and connect customer challenges with the right solutions.
  • Learn, Grow, and Own Your Development: Take ownership of your growth by embracing coaching, continuous feedback, and ongoing enablement. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues who are invested in helping you build a successful long‑term career at Elastic.
What You Bring
  • Native‑level German language and professional fluency in English.
  • Sales, Sales Development, or customer‑facing experience is a plus, but not a requirement. We’re equally excited to meet ambitious early‑career professionals who are eager to build a career in sales.

Compensation

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component.
