Senior Business Development ​/ Sales Lead (USA)

Position Overview

Stardust Audio is looking for a Senior Business Development / Sales Lead in the US (LA and/or NY) to drive growth with top-tier creative industries: advertising agencies, production companies, post houses, editors, and music supervisors.

• Build Stardust’s US presence and commercial traction.
• Convert existing relationships into active deals and recurring partnerships.
• Create a strong sales pipeline and close licensing agreements.
• Identify and activate affiliates who actually use the platform (editors, music supervisors, sound engineers/designers, directors).
• Establish Stardust as a premium and trusted music solution for creative teams.

• Develop and close deals with advertising agencies, production companies, post houses, music supervisors, editors, sound engineers/designers, directors, and relevant brands.
• Lead the full sales cycle: lead generation and contact strategy → demo → trial → licensing/subscription/blanket deals.
• Build and manage pipeline + CRM (forecasting, follow-ups, prioritization).
• Collaborate with leadership on pricing strategy, deal structure, and market product feedback.
• Represent Stardust in meetings, industry events, and introductions.

• Senior-level sales / business development experience.
• Strong, proven network in the US advertising / production ecosystem.
• Based in or highly active across LA and/or NY.
• Ability to reach and influence decision-makers quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and professional presence.
• Independent, entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset.

• Background in music, sync, audio post, or licensing.
• Experience working with premium creative services.
• Existing relationships with major agency groups.
• Familiarity with licensing language, usage rights, and exclusivity models.
