In 2026, Gould opened its first U.S. industrial presence with the acquisition of our Summit, Mississippi manufacturing facility; now operating as Gould MS LLC. Supported by the Mississippi state and committed to securing local manufacturing jobs, Gould MS produces high-quality polyethylene film and finished bag products for customers across the United States. Sustainability is central to who we are: we operate in-house recycling capability and continue to push hard on recycled and compostable materials.
Position Summary
The Sales Associate will drive new business development and account growth across the Southeast United States for Gould MS. - Finished products— contractor bags, can liners/garbage bags, recycling bags, and compostable bags sold to distributors, retailers, janitorial-sanitation (jan-san) channels, and institutional buyers.
- Manage and grow existing Gould MS accounts, ensuring service levels, reorders, and share-of-wallet expansion.
- Build and maintain a structured prospect pipeline; report activity, forecasts, and results at the weekly sales meeting (Fridays, 10:00 a.m. CT).
- Work with plant leadership on pricing, quotations, lead times, and custom specifications (gauge, width, melt index, resin blends, print).
- Represent Gould MS at trade shows, industry associations, and customer visits throughout the territory.
- Coordinate with thel headquarters team on National programs
- Provide market intelligence: competitor activity, pricing trends, resin market dynamics, and customer feedback to inform production and product development.
