Role Description

The Eastern Territory Enrollment Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in New Orleans, LA, responsible for recruiting and supporting prospective students from the eastern region. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing outreach campaigns, building relationships with high schools and community organizations, and representing Dillard University at fairs, events, and information sessions. The Specialist will guide prospective students and families through the enrollment process, from initial inquiry to application and admission, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-up.

The role also includes maintaining accurate recruitment and enrollment data, collaborating with admissions and academic departments, and contributing to strategies that increase applications and yield from the assigned territory.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated skills in student outreach, relationship building, and community engagement within an assigned territory.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with prospective students, families, and school partners.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities to plan travel, events, and follow-up in a dynamic recruitment environment.
  • Basic proficiency with enrollment or CRM systems, data tracking, and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in education, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in admissions, enrollment, or student services, ideally in a higher education or nonprofit setting.
  • Ability to work on-site in New Orleans, LA, with willingness to travel regularly within the eastern territory and occasionally work evenings or weekends.
