The ideal candidate will prospect and close sales leads to help generate revenue for the company. They will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the sales strategy. They will have strong management and coaching skills to support the learning and development of the sales team.
Responsibilities- Prospect, develop, and maintain quality customer relationships within the assigned region.
- Identify and target key accounts, engineering firms, distributors, resellers, OEMs, and strategic market segments to expand market share.
- Develop and execute sales action plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
- Manage direct sales activities, including customer visits, product presentations, and negotiations.
- Follow up on leads and referrals generated by Inside Sales and Marketing.
- Own sales opportunities through Start Up unless transferred to a third party.
- Establish and maintain regular contact with existing and new customers, with a focus on key accounts.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and proactively introduce new products and solutions.
- Prepare, present, and negotiate quotations, proposals, pricing, and commercial terms.
- Identify and resolve customer concerns while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, meetings, and other promotional events.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, quotations, and leads within the CRM system.
- Review and act on sales reports and dashboards related to pipeline activity, order intake, and performance against targets.
- Communicate relevant market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights to management.
- Uphold and promote the company’s core values and the principle of “First in Mind – First in Choice.”
- Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of direct sales or customer service experience, preferably in industrial equipment sales or gas compression within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Other:
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly.
- Experience with CRM systems such as SAP C4C or Salesforce.
- Experience using Power BI or other analytics tools.
- Experience selling disruptive or evolutionary products.
- Familiarity with major operators and customers within the Gulf Coast and Oil & Gas markets.
