Instrument Sales Specialist

As an Instrument Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for selling thermal analysis and fusion point instruments and supplies to end users in Chicago and the surrounding areas. You will serve as the primary company representative, maintaining the highest standards of integrity, customer relationships, and service while achieving the goals established by management.

• Pursue strategic opportunity for the Mat Char Business by cultivating partnerships and identifying new markets and customers in an underdeveloped territory.
• Map competitive accounts landscape in assigned territory and develop, then execute specific action plans to penetrate said accounts.
• Aggressively grow market share and achieve the annual sales target in both revenue and units to create a new and sustainable sales territory.
• Identify and develop present and future key accounts in an assigned territory
• Promote other divisions by finding leads for balance, instrument and all other METTLER TOLEDO products, and meet with local reps from other divisions to discuss business opportunities.
• Fully develop current product knowledge capabilities, applications, product justification.
• Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) database on a daily basis.
• Contact and aggressively pursue all potential customers identified by leads received by the company.
• Complete lead cycle and close lead within CRM on a regular basis
