Outside Sales Representative

Location: Addis

POSITION SUMMARY Abilene Machine is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to promote and sell new, used, and remanufactured parts and equipment throughout an assigned territory of Iowa or Pennsylvania.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, developing new business, solving problems, and working independently while being part of a strong sales team.

WHAT YOU'LL DODevelop and maintain relationships with existing customers.

Identify new customers, leads, and sales opportunities.

Promote new, used, and remanufactured parts and equipment.

Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns.

Stay knowledgeable about products through training, meetings, and seminars.

Maintain accurate customer and sales information.

Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.

Maintain and care for an assigned company vehicle.

Work with the sales team to achieve company goals.

Follow company safety policies and maintain a clean, professional work environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.

Previous agriculture related experience preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.

Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.

Must pass a pre-employment physical.

WORK ENVIRONMENT This is a field-based position requiring regular travel throughout the Iowa or Pennsylvania territory to visit customers and develop business opportunities.
