Our client, a leading organization in vaccine development and bioprocessing, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bench Scientist to join their innovative team. As a Bench Scientist, you will be an integral part of the Vaccines Early Bioprocess Analytical Development group, supporting critical research and development activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Bench Scientist
Location: Pearl River, New York
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
What's the Job?
- Perform routine sample testing and analytical method development to support early vaccine development projects.
- Prepare samples and conduct assays primarily based on high performance liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (LC-MS), along with other analytical techniques as needed.
- Document experiments accurately, analyze data, and provide clear conclusions using electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Support bioprocess and formulation development, release, stability, and characterization studies.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to advance vaccine research initiatives.
What's Needed?
- Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- 0-1 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and instrumentation relevant to protein biochemistry.
- Ability to follow and adapt scientific protocols with precision and attention to detail.
- Strong documentation, data interpretation, and communication skills.
