Patient Data Coordinator – Main ObjectiveThe Patient Data Coordinator will assist our centralized team with high level support in organizing and completing day‑to‑day data entry and data quality activities that support our clinical research sites. The role involves accurate and timely handling of clinical research data.
- Enter, review, and reconcile clinical research data with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness
- Identify potential discrepancies, missing information or errors and communicate clearly with clinical teams to support timely resolution
- Support data quality throughout each study by following established processes and maintaining organized records with a strong emphasis on accurate, quality charting
- Communicate with patients and clinic staff to confirm patient data points
- Provide concise, professional, and consistent communication regarding data‑related questions and follow‑up
- Maintain efficient workflow across multiple assignments and deadlines while prioritizing tasks appropriately
- Serve as a key resource to ensure clinical research sites provide excellent customer service to our patients, physicians and sponsors
- Maintain timely and accurate data entry by completing assigned work within expected deadlines
- Be self‑motivated, energetic and positive
- Be remarkably organized
- Be skilled at problem solving
- Take ownership of tasks from inception through completion and assume responsibility for personal success
- Love efficiency and continuously look for ways to do more with less, improve processes and come in under budget
- Associate’s degree or higher from any accredited institution (equivalent professional experience acceptable)
- 1+ year of professional work experience
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
- Healthcare, clinical research, medical scribe, medical billing or other healthcare‑related exposure is a plus
- Coffee drinkers preferred. Tea drinkers accepted.
