Learn more:  As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed patrol protocols as required by the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior within the commercial real estate environment.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
• Collaborate with property management and local law enforcement as needed to address incidents and/or emergency situations.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related threats or emergencies within the location.

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
