A Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the events we protect. The officer acts as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions and detects and reports suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may pose a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the event.

• Must either be registered as a Security Officer with the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners (LSBPSE), or be able to meet registration requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background and fingerprint check with the Louisiana State Police.
• Complete 16 hours of required classroom training.
• Be in good physical condition to complete assignments, which may include walking or standing for extended periods.
• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Have open availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have a valid driver’s license or valid photo .
• Have reliable transportation.
• Experience not required, but preferred.
