As a Security Officer Visitor Intake
- Full Time in Cedar Rapids, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. At a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support security‑related operations through routine patrols, visible presence, and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and maintain accurate access records to support security‑related operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, document relevant details, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Help deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and suspicious activity by observing site activity, reporting concerns, and following post orders for security‑related matters.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will undergo a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
