As a Security Officer Access Gate in Batchelor, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. At a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage access control, verify badges, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols while remaining visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first, values teamwork, and acts with integrity.

• Provide customer service by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, visitor processing, credential verification, and/or security‑related response activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, contractors, vendors, and/or visitors, helping to deter unauthorized access to production, warehouse, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Support daily operations by maintaining accurate access records, following post orders, and reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
