Security Control Room Officer

1st/2nd Shifts

$22.66/Hr

Must have weekend schedule availability

Ideal candidate will have previous experience in security, LEO, corrections or customer service fields. State training and licensing assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

• Answer routine and emergency calls, monitor alarms and video equipment including fire alarms, door alarms, and duress alarms and provide general assistance to employees and guests.
• Maintain records of communications and events.
• Use multiple internal and external resources to gather and manage information and intelligence.
• Escalate complaints and unusual/critical event information to the Supervisor without delay.
• Accurately maintain control of all equipment and keys in the SOC and log all equipment and keys signed out and returned.
• Inform the Supervisor of any missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment or communications, alarms, CCTV, or other systems without delay.
• Proactively monitor all surveillance cameras and CCTV remote viewer programs. Monitor and respond to all security and safety system alarms.
• Answer and respond to events and situations received over regular and emergency phones and intercoms. Control and monitor the two‑way communication systems.
