Position: Security Professional- Unarmed 12-hr          at Allied Universal        in        Berwick,        Louisiana

We are looking for flex guards in Morgan City/Amelia borderline. Pay is $12.50 per hour for 12-hour shifts available from 6am-6pm & 6pm-6am. Full time position.

Qualifications include:

  • Valid driver's license with no active flags or suspensions
  • Requires gulf cart patrol
  • Must have computer skills for dispatching for boat operations
  • Ability to complete foot patrols checking entryways and exits
  • Assist with end-of-day building maintenance

First interview will be a phone interview.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
  • Conducting patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
  • Preserving order and enforcing rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site
  • Greeting guests and employees, assisting where appropriate; escorting visitors and contractors, secure ingress and egress points, secure classified information
  • Following site specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via oral and written communication; interacting with client and/or other security personnel regarding order execution when appropriate
  • Responding to and assessing security alarms or emergency alarms; acting as a first responder in emergency situations and providing first aid as necessary

Qualifications include:

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle
  • Possess, or be able to successfully complete within 90 days of assignment, certification in:
    • First Aid
    • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
    • Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Must be a United States Citizen in order to obtain the required government clearance of America and possess one of the following:
    • U.S. Passport
    • Certified copy of U.S. birth certificate
    • Certified copy of Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) (Form FS-240)
    • Certificate of U.S. Citizenship (Form N-560 or N-561)
    • Certificate of U.S. Naturalization (Form N-550 or N-570)
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Minimum of two (2) years of previous security experience
    • Minimum of two (2) years of service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
    • Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian)
    • Verifiable work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighting field
  • Minimum of 21 years of age (or higher if required by the state)
  • Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to articulate and write clear and concise incident or situation reports

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
