As a Security Officer Full Time Bicycle Route Patrol in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, including conducting routine bike patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will maintain a visible presence, support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

• Tue: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM

• Sun: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and support campus access-control procedures by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and documenting relevant activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and policy violations, and communicate pertinent information to supervisors and campus representatives.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
