Deckhand- Orleans Area

: $200–$240 per day (based on experience)
Schedule
: 2-for-1 rotation

Deckhands perform essential physical labor aboard vessels and barges in all weather conditions.

Daily responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Making and breaking tow
• Securing boats and barges
• Line handling and rigging
• Standing lookout watches
• General vessel upkeep (cleaning, cooking, painting, chipping)
• Minor engine room tasks (oil changes, greasing, filter changes)
• Additional duties as directed by the Captain or Mate

• Competitive Pay: $200–$240/day based on experience

• Experience:
  
  Prior push boat experience highly preferred
• Requirements:
  • TWIC card (must maintain)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Minimum age: 18
  • Ability to work holidays/weekends and adapt to changing schedules
• Physical Ability:
  • Lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Climb ladders, work on uneven surfaces, and in all weather conditions
  • Comfortable working aboard boats and barges

• Must pass pre‑employment drug screen, physical, and background check
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
