Heavy Equipment Operator, Crane Operator, General Labor, Installation Technician
As an Operator you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facility. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and control equipment and processes, ensuring that all operations meet safety and quality standards. You will be tasked with troubleshooting any issues that arise during operations and implementing solutions to maintain productivity. Additionally, you will collaborate with team members to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Ultimately, your contributions will directly impact the overall success of our operations and customer satisfaction.
- Operates crane forklift, tele-handler, etc.
- Manipulates or depresses crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
- Maintains preventative maintenance program on all heavy equipment.
- Repairs equipment as needed.
- Inspects equipment for safety issues on a daily basis.
- Determines if any parts are malfunctioning and seeks the appropriate solution.
- Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and all other necessary paperwork.
- Lifts, positions and places machinery, equipment or other large objects in Manufacturing yard.
- Ensures that the necessary safety measures are taken for equipment operation.
- Moves levers and pedals to rotate crane on chassis to raise and lower crane boom and to raise and lower load‑line.
- Bolts boom sections together to extend or modify boom for pile driving or high lifting.
- Works with in precise limits and standards of accuracy.
- Operates equipment according to signals from helper.
- Starts and stops equipment engine.
- Follows all directions carefully.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school degree or GED.
- Three years experience operating similar cranes required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license to operate company vehicle in addition to traveling on behalf of the company to customer sites.
- Applicable certifications and training classes required for Crane Operations.
- Applicable certifications based on customer site requirements (as required).
