Industrial Electrician

Job Summary

Ardent Services, LLC is a leading provider of specialty electrical and instrumentation services for the nation’s process industries. We offer high‑quality power, control, and process automation services, panel fabrication, renewable energy, and energy retrofit solutions. We are seeking an Electrician with experience installing, modifying, and maintaining low and medium voltage circuits, including power distribution, motors, controls, lighting, and grounding systems, with limited supervision.

• Install electrical raceway systems comprised of rigid aluminum, galvanized steel, PVC, and PVC‑coated conduit, as well as aluminum, galvanized steel, and fiberglass cable tray.
• Installation and termination of single and multiple conductor cables.
• Install electrical devices such as light fixtures, transformers, disconnects, motor starters, distribution panels, and start/stop stations.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair normal electrical circuits.
• Safely use electrical test equipment such as a volt‑ohm meter, amp meter, or megohmmeter.
• Operate hand and power tools (band saws, drills, conduit threaders, hole punches, wire tuggers) safely.
• Accurately measure and bend up to 6” conduit using manual, mechanical, hydraulic, and electric conduit benders.
• Pull and secure electrical conductors, including measuring, cutting, pulling, tagging, shaping, and securing cables to wireways or welded studs.
• Properly pack and pour seals.
• Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Code and OSHA Electrical Safe Work Practices.
• Read electrical drawings.
• Use and maintain all required personal protective equipment.
• Follow hazards and safe work procedures for elevated work areas, personnel lift equipment, lockout/tagout, confined spaces, emergency action plans, safe work permits, incident reporting, and Hazcom procedures.

• Valid TWIC card.
