We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician with a can‑do attitude, strong problem‑solving skills, and an active EPA Certification.

• Diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning systems, refrigeration systems, and food service equipment.
• Perform maintenance and service repairs, install new units, or replace parts of existing units for systems 15 tons or larger.
• Maintain larger PM contracts with more than 5 units.
• Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment and their controls.
• Service and troubleshoot mini-splits and/or replace smaller RTU’s and mini-splits for 15 tons or less.
• Communicate with Dispatch to ensure completion of scheduled jobs.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for customers.
• Provide elite customer service to every customer encountered.

• Continual learning and development through First Call Academy to maintain industry‑leading skill level.
• Deliver elite level customer service, ensuring customers call First Call for their HVAC needs.

• TWIC card required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Active EPA Certification.
• 5+ years of experience in a commercial HVAC setting.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Manufacturer Certification is preferred.
• Availability to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write correspondence; effectively communicate with customers and account managers.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; compute rate, ratio, percent; read and interpret graphs.

Apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions; handle problems with concrete variables; prioritize multiple tasks; lead and teach helpers and tech I’s.

Regularly use hands; stand, walk, sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift/move up to 50 pounds; specific vision abilities required.
