Senior Fire Sprinkler Service Technician

Position

Fire Sprinkler Service Technician – St. Rose, LA (serving customers throughout the greater New Orleans, LA area).

• Install, repair, and maintain wet, dry, pre‑action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, backflow prev enters, fire hydrants, and fire pumps.
• Perform inspections and testing of fire sprinkler, fire pump, and other water‑based equipment.
• Document deficiencies or impairments noted during inspections or service work and report them as required.
• Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all work performed.
• Maintain vehicle stock, tools, and equipment, and follow corporate policies related to vehicle use and care.

• 3+ years of experience in the installation and/or repair of water‑based equipment.
• Ability and willingness to work in a variety of environments, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high‑lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outdoor/indoor, hot/cold, day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Able to travel up to 30% statewide.
• Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens’ fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

• 5+ years of experience with installation and repair of water‑based equipment.
• High school diploma, state‑recognized GED, associate, or bachelor’s degree preferred.

The pay range for this position is $57,120 - $97,920 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
