Lull Forklift Operator
The forklift operator safely and efficiently moves materials around the jobsite, handling loads both manually and with material handling equipment. This role focuses on operating Lull forklifts and other telehandler equipment to support construction and data center operations, ensuring materials are delivered to the correct locations in a timely and organized manner.
Responsibilities
- Operate Lull forklifts to move, lift, and place materials safely around the jobsite.
- Use standard forklifts and telehandlers to transport materials to designated areas.
- Assist with manual material handling when needed to support daily site operations.
- Load and unload materials from flatbed trucks and other vehicles as required.
- Follow all safety procedures and site rules while operating material handling equipment.
- Inspect equipment before use and report any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Coordinate with site personnel to ensure materials are staged and delivered accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient material flow.
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
Essential Skills
- At least 1 year of experience operating material handling equipment.
- Demonstrated experience operating Lull forklifts (Lull forklift experience is a must).
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and telehandlers in a construction or industrial environment.
- Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently using both equipment and manual methods.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Strong awareness of safety practices and ability to follow established procedures.
- Ability to communicate clearly with site personnel and follow instructions.
- Reliable work habits and ability to perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience operating flatbed trucks to transport materials is preferred.
- Previous work on construction sites or data center projects is beneficial.
- Familiarity with a variety of material handling equipment beyond Lull forklifts and telehandlers.
- Ability to adapt to changing site conditions and priorities.
- Basic understanding of jobsite logistics and material staging.

Work Environment
This role is based on an active construction site, including work within or around data center facilities. The environment is fast-paced and requires consistent attention to safety, with exposure to outdoor conditions, noise, and ongoing construction activities. Team members regularly work around heavy equipment and vehicles and must wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety vests, and work boots.
Hours follow typical construction schedules, with the possibility of variations based on project needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rayville, LA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
