Not subject to residency requirements.

Shall perform the duties of Power Plant and Substation Electrician. In addition, install, maintain and troubleshoot electronic, computerized and electrical equipment as assigned.

• Install, troubleshoot and maintain communication, data processing, and computerized control equipment.
• Keep operating records as required by the Company.
• Maintain solid state devices, computers, telemetering equipment, protective relays, and switchboard instruments.
• Work from construction prints, wiring diagrams, instruction books, and make sketches of wiring circuits and maintain prints up to date.
• Be familiar with and understand operating principles of power plant, computerized controls, substation equipment, and other assigned equipment.
• Use test instruments such as oscilloscope, wattmeter, phase angle meter, signal generator, electronic coupler, phase shifter, and other instruments required to test equipment.
• Keep abreast of new equipment installed and the equipment required to maintain it.
• Assist in training journeyman and apprentices.

High School Diploma or GED.

Pay Range: $53.38 – $53.38 per hour.
