Quality Process Services (QPS) is seeking an experienced Offshore Maintenance Electrician to support production operations on offshore oil and gas facilities located Offshore, Gulf of America. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical power distribution systems, motors, compressors, generators, and related production equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining offshore production facilities and be capable of working independently while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
Experience with 13.8kV shore power systems is preferred but not required.
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical equipment supporting offshore production operations.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on 480V MCCs, 4160 electric compressors, switch gear, transformers, motor starters, and power distribution equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot three-phase motors, electric compressors, pumps, generators, HVAC systems, lighting, heat tracing, and facility electrical equipment.
- Assist with Fire & Gas systems, ESD systems, transmitters, RTDs, flow devices, and production control equipment.
- Use multimeters, meggers, clamp meters, insulation resistance testers, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Read and interpret one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
- Support startups, shutdowns, switching, electrical isolation, preventive maintenance, documentation, and parts ordering.
- Work closely with operations, mechanics, and maintenance personnel while following JSAs, LOTO procedures, and company safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years of offshore electrical maintenance experience.
- Experience with 480V MCCs, 4160 electric compressors, three-phase motors, generators, compressors, switch gear, and motor control circuits.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
- Proficient with electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to work independently offshore.
- Experience with 13.8kV shore power systems.
- Experience with VFDs, PLC-controlled equipment, Solar turbine generators, and offshore instrumentation.
- High Voltage Safety training, CompEX certification, or equivalent.

- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and over water.
