NOW HIRING ALL CRAFTS! Civil Construction Contractors, LLC is currently hiring for ALL CRAFTS! We are seeking Carpenters, Heavy Equipment Operators, Concrete Finishers, Carpenter Helpers, and Laborers for civil and industrial construction projects. Applicants may specialize in one craft or have experience across multiple trades. All work performed will be in the industrial workplace. All candidates must be able to pass a DISA pre-employment drug screen & alcohol test, physical and DISA background security check.

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Superintendent and/or Foreman, the Multicraft Civil/Industrial Construction Worker performs a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled construction tasks on heavy civil, industrial, and commercial construction projects. This position is designed to support multiple craft disciplines including carpentry, concrete, heavy equipment operation, general labor, and construction support activities.
Employees in this role may perform duties associated with:

- Heavy Equipment Operator
- Concrete Finisher
- General Laborer
Work may include site preparation, excavation support, concrete placement and finishing, formwork, rigging, grading, equipment operation, utility installation, and general construction activities required to safely and efficiently complete projects.
Multicraft Industrial Construction Worker Essential Responsibilities & Duties General Construction Duties- Perform a variety of physical construction tasks in civil and industrial environments
- Follow directions from Superintendents, Foremen, and Lead Craftsmen
- Assist with site preparation, cleanup, material handling, and project support activities
- Load, unload, transport, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific requirements
- Work safely around heavy equipment, utilities, excavation areas, and active construction zones
- Assist other crafts as needed to support project completion
- Construct, install, align, brace, and dismantle concrete forms and structures
- Build and install wall forms, footing forms, slab forms, decks, and structural form systems
- Read measurements, grades, and layout markings
- Install embeds, anchor bolts, block-outs, sleeves, and miscellaneous items
- Frame openings, ledges, construction joints, and edge forms
- Install and remove scaffolding, handrails, and temporary structures
- Use hand tools, power tools, levels, lasers, and measuring devices safely and accurately
- Assist with concrete placement, screeding, finishing, curing, and saw cutting
- Set and establish finish grades during concrete pours
- Perform patching, repair, restoration, and joint treatment work
- Operate finishing equipment including walk-behind trowels, ride-on trowels, vibratory equipment, and concrete saws
- Install expansion joints, keyways, and control joints
- Ensure finished surfaces meet project specifications and quality standards
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently including but not limited to:
- Excavators
- Dozers
- Skid Steers
- Backhoes
- Loaders
- Rollers/Compactors
- Off-road haul trucks
- Telehandlers/Forklifts
- Perform excavation, grading, trenching, back filling, and material movement operations
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance checks
- Identify and report equipment issues or safety concerns immediately
Work safely around underground utilities, structures, and personnel
Must possess a valid driver's license
- Assist skilled craftsmen with construction activities
- Dig trenches, shovel materials, and assist with grading operations
- Install and remove temporary erosion control measures
- Handle concrete materials, lumber, reinforcing steel, and piping
- Assist with rigging, signaling, and spotting equipment
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
- Perform general cleanup and housekeeping duties on project sites
- Previous civil, industrial, commercial, or heavy construction experience preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials and equipment
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel when required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and/or site-required screenings if applicable
Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- Concrete formwork and finishing
- Heavy equipment operation
- Excavation and grading
- Underground utility installation
- Industrial construction
- Blueprint reading and layout
- Rigging and signaling
- Welding or torch cutting
- Rebar installation
- Commercial carpentry
