Brown & Root Industrial Services - - Responsibilities:
Assembles, analyzes for defects, and repairs boilers, tanks, vats and pressure vessels, boiler auxiliaries and ancillaries according to blueprints specifications, using power tools and hand tools;
Aligns components or plates with plumb bobs, levels, and measuring tools to assemble boiler frames;
Bolts or arc-welds structures and sections together and secures drums and headers into supports;
Signals crane operator and uses rigging to lift components to specified positions;
Performs field maintenance or repairs on boilers and tanks and tests assemblies for leaks
