Civil Carpenter Foreman

Brown & Root Industrial Services -  - Responsibilities:
Supervise on-site carpentry crews in construction, fabrication, installation and dismantling of form work for fixtures and structures;
Read blueprints to determine material requirements and dimensions for form work;
Load, haul, and organize job materials on site and prepare form layouts from plans;
Set up and erect scaffolding, ladders, walkways, and temporary structures; install window frames, doors, trim, and hardware;
Construct forms and supports for concrete piers, footings, and walls; ensure forms are plumb, square, and correctly aligned; verify accuracy with tools and transit;
Operate carpentry hand tools and power tools; tie rebar where required; rig materials as needed;
Ensure compliance with safety and project rules; observe proper work procedures; mentor crew as needed
