Louisiana

Identify, remove, pack, transport, or dispose of hazardous materials, including asbestos. Specialized training and certification in hazardous materials handling or a confined entry permit are generally required.

Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman. May provide some Insulation Foreman responsibilities on smaller projects. Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities. Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site. Removes and/or replaces asbestos insulation on plant operating equipment, pipelines, storage vessels, and tanks in support of plant construction and maintenance activities.
