Two years of experience or training in the electrical trade.

- installs, maintains, alters, and repairs electrical wiring (underground and above ground), conduit ( underground, exterior, and interior), external light fixtures and poles (parking lot, sidewalk, and building), interior Light fixtures, power appliances, light machinery, electrical controls (switches, breakers, fuses, and panel boxes), transformers, motor starters, related switch gear and controls, outlets and all other related electrical circuits and equipment which also includes in-house renovations
- investigates and resets elevator controls when possible
- performs electrical-related demolition and construction work on minor projects as assigned throughout the entire campus
- possesses the ability to properly and safely operate the following equipment: manlift, pipe threading machine, drill press, and other equipment used in daily tasks
- supervises lesser skilled workers in the absence of Electrician Master
- campus maintenance emergencies, work orders and assists other trades as needed
Compensation:
Starting rate of pay $19.67 per hour. There is also an additional $1 Longevity pay for hours worked only. Rate may be increased depending on applicants' qualifications.
