Pipe Welder – Per Diem offered at Trillium Staffing, Destrehan, LA. This is an 8‑week project at a food‑processing plant in the Flaker Building. The role requires installing new structural steel flooring, handrails, catwalks, conveyors, and steam, condensate, air, and hydraulic process piping from exterior pipe racks to each floor.
Responsibilities
- Install structural steel flooring, handrails, catwalks, conveyors.
- Install steam, condensate, air, and hydraulic process piping.
- Conduct a 2" SCH 10 stainless steel pipe test in 6‑g position and a 6" SCH 40 carbon pipe test in 6‑g position before work begins.
- Work 6–10‑hour days for an 8‑week period, starting on the 8th.
- Pass all pre‑employment screening and weld tests.
- Reliable transportation.
- All basic hand tools.
- Pass pre‑employment screenings.
- Pass both weld tests prior to job start.
- $37 per hour or $90 per day if qualifying for per diem.
