Lawn & Garden Service Technician

Kunau Implement is looking for a skilled and dependable Lawn & Garden Service Technician to join our team. This position will focus on servicing and repairing lawn & garden equipment while providing excellent service to our customers.

• Diagnose, service, and repair lawn & garden equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and seasonal service on mowers, garden tractors, utility equipment, and other lawn & garden products.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel-system issues.
• Assemble and set up new lawn & garden equipment for customer delivery.
• Prepare equipment for seasonal use and perform winterization and storage services.
• Complete warranty repairs and service work according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Accurately document repairs, parts, labor, and recommendations on service work orders.
• Communicate with customers and service personnel regarding equipment problems, repairs, and maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Properly use and maintain shop tools, diagnostic equipment, and service equipment.
• Stay current on product updates, service procedures, and technical training.
• Assist other service department technicians as needed.
• Provide a positive customer experience by completing quality repairs promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience repairing lawn & garden, small-engine, agricultural, automotive, or related equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair gas and diesel engines and related systems.
• Basic electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills preferred.
• Ability to read and understand service manuals and technical information.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and parts as required.
• Willingness to continue learning and attend manufacturer training.

This position requires the ability to:

• Lift and move parts, tools, and equipment.
• Stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods.
• Work safely around operating machinery and shop equipment.
• Occasionally work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
