Insight Global is seeking a Commissioning Electrician for a leading electrical construction client. This individual will support startup and commissioning efforts on complex electrical projects while ensuring high-quality execution and safety compliance. The ideal candidate thrives in a field environment, enjoys troubleshooting and mentoring teams, and wants to be involved in the final stages of bringing critical electrical systems online.
Day-to-Day:- Execute commissioning plans and startup activities
- Perform quality inspections on electrical systems
- Analyze commissioning schedules and upcoming project activities
- Ensure installation standards and best practices are followed
- Lead small electrical crews
- Conduct safety audits and compliance reviews
- Coach and mentor field employees
- Review project expectations with leadership
- Assist with arc flash study data collection

- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of electrical field experience
- Experience with commissioning and startup activities
- Knowledge of electrical systems, feeders, lighting, and controls
- OSHA and LOTO compliance experience
- Ability to travel 75-100%
- Strong communication and leadership abilities Plusses:
- Experience leading crews of electricians
- Arc Flash study experience
- QA/QC inspection experience
- Training and mentoring background
- Mission Critical or Industrial project experience
