Equipment Operator-Mixing Plant

The Equipment Operator - Rentals is responsible for operating mixing plants, washing equipment, maintaining rental inventory, and supporting field operations across multiple divisions. This role requires technical expertise, safety compliance, and the ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with team members and clients.

• Operate mixing plants efficiently and safely without supervision
• Pour chemicals accurately and on schedule
• Wash tanks inside and out to company standards
• Maintain and inventory all equipment and chemicals
• Write accurate tickets with zero errors
• Handle viscosity of sweeps and proper sending procedures
• Rig up and rig down pumps and pods
• Change socks and gaskets in pods as needed
• Clean and organize work areas and yard facilities

• Follow all CNC Operating Policies and Safety Procedures
• Implement proper accident procedures when incidents occur
• Conduct random safety inspections and ensure compliance
• Maintain H2S, Manlift, and Forklift certifications
• Perform mechanical maintenance on mixing plants and pods
• Ensure all equipment is ready at beginning and end of each workday
• Operate power washers skillfully and safely
• Run forklifts without supervision
• Drive company trucks and maintain chauffeur's/CDL license
• Handle chemical inventory and ordering responsibilities
• Maintain proficiency with all mixing plant equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment

• Serve as the voice of the company with clients and fellow employees
• Maintain good communication with company representatives
• Be prepared for on-call availability 24/7
• Answer operator questions and provide field support
• Receive and process job requests efficiently
• Coordinate with other divisions as required

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
• CDL License preferred (required for senior levels)
• H2S Safety Certification

• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Understanding of hazardous materials handling
• Proficiency in safety procedures and protocols
• Ability to make safety-critical decisions

• Knowledge of chemical properties and dosages
• Understanding of down-hole conditions and chemical applications
• Mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting
• Problem-solving abilities for field challenges
• Inventory management and ordering capabilities
• Ticket writing accuracy and attention to detail

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Industrial setting with exposure to chemicals and heavy equipment
• On-call availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Travel to various job sites and client locations
