NOLA Aviation LLC is looking for a skilled and dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team in Kenner, LA. Responsibilities:- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft systems and components
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues to ensure airworthiness
- Complete maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer manuals, and approved maintenance procedures
- Accurately document all maintenance actions, inspections, and parts usage in aircraft logbooks and maintenance records
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections as required
- Collaborate with pilots, crew, and other technicians to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize aircraft downtime
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and aviation regulatory standards
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required
- Minimum 2+ years of hands‑on aircraft maintenance experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, including FAR Part 43 and Part 91
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical publications
- Experience with both piston and turbine aircraft is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check
