Livingston Parish Public Schools is seeking the following position for the spring semester of 2026:

Licensed Social Worker / Qualified School Social Worker

Livingston Parish Public Schools is presently seeking applicants for the position of Qualified School Social Worker for the remainder of academic year 25-26. This is a full-time position with benefits available per district guidelines. The position is designated as a Behavior Intervention Specialist, and entails providing a range behavior support services to students on several campuses across the district. Previous experience with behavioral health in schools is preferred.

Candidate must meet eligibility requirements by the LDOE for certification as a qualified school social worker. LCSW given priority, however LMSW can apply for consideration. LMSW must be working toward LCSW in order to be considered for a long-term position; supervision toward LCSW can be provided on site. The start date for the position is on or after January 12, 2026.
