Position: UTILITY INVENTORY CONTROL SUPERVISOR (CLASS CODE 3483)
Location: New Orleans

overview

supervisory, technical, administrative and field work overseeing the day-to-day operations of the inventory control section; schedules, coordinates, and evaluates the work of inventory staff to ensure a high-performance work environment that supports effective inventory control practices across the sewerage and water board; and related work as required.

qualifications
  • high school diploma or ged equivalent.
  • five years of utility field experience. Two years of which must have been at a supervisory level.
  • possession of a valid driver s license.

note: domicile requirements are currently waived for the purpose of application. Residency requirements are waived for all sewerage and water board of new orleans positions vacant and advertised for at least 90 days. Employees hired under this waiver remain exempt from the city s residency requirement for the duration of their employment at the sewerage and water board. (la r.s. 33:4076).
