Responsibilities
River Oaks Hospital, located in metropolitan New Orleans, Louisiana, is a private psychiatric facility for adults, adolescents and children. Since 1970, we have established a tradition of excellence in treating acute psychiatric illness, dual diagnosis, alcohol and drug detoxification, trauma‑based disorders, compulsive behaviors, and eating disorders. We are seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse for a full‑time, temporary 13‑week assignment. Pay rate: $65.00 per hour.
This is a non‑benefit eligible position. Day and night shift roles are available.
Note:
Candidates employed by any UHS facility within the last 6 months are not eligible.
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing; current licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Nurses.
- Ability to clearly speak, write, and understand verbal and written English.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Previous experience in a psychiatric hospital or related inpatient setting preferred.
- Provide service to all populations while demonstrating the Service Excellence Standards.
- Treat everyone as a guest.
- Demonstrate professionalism and excellence in all that I do.
- Practice teamwork.
