Job Title

In the SW-Development Department eATS (RD/ETS), we develop the electric drives of today and tomorrow. We integrate AI methods into our development process to develop software faster and with higher quality.
These challenges come to you, among others:
- Design and implementation of automated workflows with n8n to connect development tools, AI services, and team processes
- Creation of connections to Jira, Confluence, Git, Microsoft Ecosystem, and LLM-APIs via n8n-workflows
- Development of AI-supported automations (e.g., automated code review triggers, requirement tracking, creation of test reports)
- Roll out of workflow solutions across departmental boundaries and documentation for independent adaptations by colleagues
- Training of colleagues in the use and development of n8n-workflows
How you will benefit from the activity:
- Practical experience in building enterprise AI automation in an automotive SW environment
- Responsibility for end-to-end workflow solutions used by real development teams
- Mentoring by experienced engineers in a collaborative team
The activity can start in August 2026.
QualificationsRequired
- Enrolled in computer science, mathematics, or a comparable technical course
- Competence in the development of n8n-workflows (node configuration, syntax, error handling, webhook triggers)
- Solid Python knowledge for custom n8n nodes, scripts, and API integrations
- Experience in using REST APIs and working with JSON data
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Secure use of German and English (in word and writing)
Advantageous
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (AI services, Logic Apps, or Dev Ops)
- Knowledge of LLM-APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI) and prompt engineering
- Experience with other automation platforms (Power Automate, ROVO-Automation)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and concepts of Azure app deployments
