The Drive Systems Software-Integration &
-Steuerung department at Mercedes-Benz is advancing the digitalization and automation of software coordination in the drivetrain.
To strengthen our team "Softwarekoordination CDCC & Variantencodierung," we are looking for a student assistant (m/w/d) who will identify automation potentials, develop solutions together with the departments, and implement them independently up to the productive use.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analysis of requirements and identification of automation potentials
- Development and implementation of workflows, apps, and automation solutions
- Integration of data sources and systems via APIs and interfaces
- Testing, rollout, and optimization of the developed solutions
- Ensuring the practicality and acceptance of the solutions by users
The position can start in September 2026.
Qualifications:
- Study in computer science, business informatics, data science, or a comparable field
- First experiences in digitalization, automation, or software development
- Knowledge in n8n, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, or comparable platforms
- Good knowledge in Python or Java Script
- Experience with REST APIs and system integrations
- Analytical mindset, initiative, and a strong hands-on attitude
- Very good German or English language skills
