Job Title

The Drive Systems Software-Integration &
-Steuerung (RD/EDS) department at Mercedes-Benz is responsible for software coordination in the drivetrain and develops cloud-based applications and digital solutions for it. To continuously improve the collaboration and control of our drive software, we rely on agile working methods, data-driven decisions, automation, and the targeted use of AI. These challenges await you:

• Operation and further development of our Azure cloud platform
• Deployment of web applications, APIs, and backend services
• Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with Git Hub Enterprise
• Operation of containers, runners, and cloud infrastructure
• Integration of databases, interfaces, and Azure AI services
• Monitoring, error analysis, and optimization of productive systems

The position can start in September 2026.

• Study of computer science, software engineering, cloud computing, or comparable
• Very good knowledge in Python (must-have)
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Git Hub Enterprise, Git Hub Actions, and CI/CD
• Knowledge in backend development, APIs, databases, and cloud architectures
• Experience with Docker, containers, and cloud deployments
• Knowledge in Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or AI agent systems is advantageous
• Experience with Claude, Git Hub Copilot, and Vibe Coding is desirable
• React, Type Script, or modern frontend technologies are a plus
• High initiative, hands-on mentality, and enthusiasm for modern cloud technologies
